BUT FIRST, ONE VERY IMPORTANT RULE FOR ORDERING COLD ITEMS FROM US
Obviously these products need to be kept cool. So if you are not going to be home for delivery of your cold items or are unsure if you will be home - than you need to either, provide us with access to a refridgerator in your garage or outdoor area or leave out an esky or cooler bag of your own with some ice packs in them.
We will take great care to make sure your cold items are perfectly fine if you are not home to accept delivery. If we decide there is nowhere to leave your milk that is suitable for keeping it cold enough, we will provide you with a cooler box or bag and ice blocks but will have to charge up to $10 for doing this, to cover the cost of the cooler box/bag, ice blocks and our time. This is not to be mean and bossey :) - it is simply too keep your cold items fresh and you and your family safe :). We will leave a note that we will charge this amount to your credit card without further notice. However when the box or bag and ice blocks are returned to us we will refund the amount charged to you.
We are in the process of buying some cooler bags for the purpose of cold items delivery and will let you know when they are available for purchase from us. This will make the delivery easier for all of us. Thanks for your patience while we get all this in place.
Just an idea for all you serious home shoppers - if you love home delivery of all our products - produce, milk, smallgoods etc why not consider obtaining a fridge (small or second hand) for your garage or outdoor area that we can access - that way you will never have to worry about whether you are home or not- and just in time for summer too! I know that's what I would do as a customer of ours. Shopping this way is the 'way of the furture' so making changes in your home enviroment that make the shopping experience more convenient and efficient makes complete sense don't you think. Note: this is not a requirment at all - it's just an idea for our 'serious' home delivery customers.
